Huntress’ Giraffe Kill Sparks Another Round Of Public Outrage

Another beautiful huntress has unwittingly found herself in the middle of a heated debate after posting Facebook photos of her African hunting trip.

Sabrina Corgatelli hunted giraffe, warthog, kudu, and impala, but it was the giraffe that most commenters focused on. She proudly posted photos of her achievements, but the backlash was as swift as it was fierce.

Corgatelli has already received thousands of negative comments in response to her photos, each with hundreds if not thousands of likes.

“Wow, you killed a giraffe, an animal that wouldn’t hurt a fly.. No words for how disgusting you are,” wrote Terry Hoeye, receiving over 11,000 likes for malicious comment.

“Unbelievable that human garbage like you exists,” wrote Melinda Shannon Freels, garnering a whopping 8,000 likes.

“Why not kill your family poodle,” asked Scott Weaver, with almost 2,000 likes. “You could strangle it with your bare hands. Or maybe you have a 4 year old daughter you could beat with a bat. IT would probably give you the same sick thrill you got here killing this “old giraffe”. oh I get it, you would rather shoot a white haired grandma. You are one sick woman.”

Many other posters hurled vile insults and personal attacks against Coratelli, some even threatening to hunt her in retribution for her actions.

But amdist the hate, Corgatelli has also received a few positive comments, including one from poster Gage Arness.

“Thank you Sabrina for helping support the wildlife conservation over there,” wrote Arness, with only 36 likes. “I know it’s very expensive to go on a hunt such as this. You have done a great thing and have had a great opportunity for yourself. Most of these people don’t understand how it all works and don’t want to. Keep up the good hunts! Pay no attention to the evil and spiteful people that will attack you.”

Corgatelli responded to the massive influx of spiteful comments with a pair of Bible verses.

“Genesis 9:3 says, “Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you. And as I ave you the green plants, I give you everything.”

“Genesis 27:3 says, “Now then, take your weapons, your quiver and your bow, and go out to the field and hunt game for me.”

Hunting has been the focus of public scrutiny in recent weeks after an American dentist hunted a 13-year-old male lion in Zimbabwe, and it seems Corgatelli most recent photos couldn’t have come at a worse time.

It’s unfortunate that legal hunts attract so much negativity, especially since in most instances they greatly benefit wildlife reserves.

Hopefully Cogatelli is able to shrug off the threats and condescending remarks and push forward to her next hunt.
