300 Blackout at Half the Normal Price! – WOLF Ammunition – Shot Show 2020

Everyone has that buddy who has a stockpile of .300 Blackout because it is larger than 5.56 but refuses to shoot it because it is more expensive. Now that WOLF Performance Ammunition has released its new steel-cased .300 AAC blackout, that buddy of yours can rest easy.

You, or your bud, can score .300 Blackout for a mere $0.27 – $0.28 per round, which is about half the price of even the most budget-friendly offerings available today.

Cheaper ammo is usually correlated with lower quality, but WOLF told me at SHOT Show 2020 that these rounds will AT LEAST perform as well as the other budget options on the market.

This new steel-cased .300 Blackout offering is nearly half the price of other cost-effective options on the market today.

The round features a 145-grain FMJ projectile loaded in front of a non-corrosive propellant. In the base, it is Berdan primed, which means coupled with the fact that it is steel cased, you cannot reload these cases.

There are no published numbers on velocities that I am aware of, but I was told at the booth that those who tested the ammo were getting 1500-1600FPS in 10-inch barreled guns and 1850-1900FPS in 16-inch barreled guns.

Wolf expects to see the non-corrosive FMJ ammo on shelves near you as soon as March.

Look for WOLF’s Blackout to hit a store near you around March for around $5.00 for a box of 20.
