Vortex Optics is a sports optics company that manufactures a complete product line of binoculars, spotting scopes, riflescopes, monoculars, tripods, and accessories.  Vortex has gained a reputation for producing some of the “best value for the money” products in the hunting and shooting industry. These Optics are what you buy when you want quality, but don’t want to break the bank and still have the confidence of a limited lifetime unconditional warranty.

The Golden Eagle HD ECR-1 MOA was specifically designed for long-range, F-class, and other competition shooters. The 4x optical zoom, side focus, generous eye relief, and minimal weight are all positive features for staying in line with the competition. Made from a solid piece of aircraft grade aluminum, this scope is waterproof, shockproof and fog-proof–meeting the Vortex standard of ruggedness and durability.  Designed with the competitive shooter in mind, the Golden Eagle has extra-fine resolution Turret with the increment of adjustment of just 0.125 MOA per click which allows for very small adjustments to fine tune shots.  Slated to be released this summer the Golden Eagle has an MRSP of $1899.

The new Razor HD AMG is 100% made in America. Every component from the smallest screw to the index-matched lenses are all entirely made right here in the USA.  The 6-24×50 FFP makes the Razor HD AMG an ideal riflescope for an extremely wide range of shooting scenarios. When it comes to weight, at just 28.8 oz, this scope is extremely lightweight for a long-range scope packed with all the features one would expect in such a diversely capable  scope. If you’re looking for a quality long-range precision riflescope, it would appear that Vortex hit the mark with this one.  This will be available on a limited basis starting this summer with an MSRP of $3399.

Vortex is also introducing a lightweight, fast, point and shoot Red Dot optic with the Sparc AR.  For me, the most welcomed feature of this new optic is that it uses AAA batteries.  How great is that, to not have to hunt for batteries since AAA’s are batteries most people keep readily at home.  The battery life at the maximum brightness is roughly 300 hours and at the minimum setting will be around 5,000 hours.  Available this spring the MSRP is set at $259.
