The Stock and Flow of US Firearms: Results from the 2015 National Firearms Survey (PDF)
A recent study from Harvard University identified a new class of gun owner they are labeling the “Super Owner.” Since 2008, the scare of an Obama gun confiscation has brought millions of Americans into gun ownership. Apparently those of us who own more than 10 guns are new to the empty brains at Harvard, because they are attributing this new class of gun owners to the “Super Owner” class, rather than it being a natural percentage of the firearm enthusiast crown, of which it has always been. The key number was 14% of all gun owners, or 7.6mm adults and 3% of the total U.S. population, possessed 50% of all guns owned by civilians in the country.
If you look prior to 2008, guns per capita was flat. Then it jumped when Obama was elected, and has continued to climb since. Lots of things don’t matter to you until it appears that you are going to lose them, so this was a very predictable and expected outcome of a President who insists on blaming the hammers for a house that was built like crap.
The study, entitled “The Stock and Flow of US Firearms: Results from the 2015 National Firearms Survey”, was conducted by the Harvard School of Public Health and found also that considering a total somewhere north of of 270mm civilian-owned guns in the U.S., that implies that these “Super Owners” possess an average of nearly 18 guns per person. I think it’s kind of low actually lol. BFD right? But beware that you are being identified and targeted for the next wave of whatever is coming.
There is going to be the opposite of the “Obama effect” on gun ownership now that Donald Trump was elected and we have both houses of the U.S. Congress in the Republican camp. By this time next year, nobody is going to be talking about guns or 2nd Amendment rights. But beware, none of those politicians are really on your side, right or left, including The Donald. He was put in to continue the surveilance state, continue reckless money printing, and continue a black hole military budget so that we continue to fund the geoengineering airplanes that flew over your house today and sprayed you with aluminum nanoparticulates and who knows what else. It feels great to keep serial killer Hillary Clinton out of the White House for a second trip, but The Donald is a dealmaker, and you can bet he made a deal to get where he is. We’ll see how that applies to our 2nd Amendment rights. Keep your powder dry and some food under your bed.
