So many lies in one clip.

1. "Behind closed doors!" DeSantis called for constitutional carry to pass many times, publicly, including while running for reelection.
2. "No background checks!" You still have to do that to buy a gun in the first place.
3. "To carry weapons of… https://t.co/0DcyyMrUFE
Guns aren’t the number one killer of children. But if you ask Gov. Gavin Newsom or former President Barack Hussein Obama, they will tell you that they are. They will lie to you.
The reason is obvious.
They want to inflate the stats to mislead you into believing that firearms pose an existential threat to children so that you become more sympathetic to their civil disarmament agenda.

The chart above shows the leading causes of death for all children in the United States, which typically includes individuals aged from birth to 17 years old. The data comes from the CDC’s National Center for Health Statistics and is based on data from the year 2019.
What gun control advocates do to balloon the figures is include 18 and 19-year-olds. Adults aren’t children. But they are conveniently counted as children in their tally.
Of the 3,610 children and adults under the age of 20 who died from firearm-related injuries in the United States in 2019, 76.4% (2,759) were individuals aged 15-19, while 23.6% (851) were children aged 0-14.
Within the 15-19 age group, 18.1% (498) were aged 15-17, while 62.6% (2,261) were aged 18-19. As you can see, including the adults really distorts the data.
We are failing our children. Guns are now the leading cause of death for children in the U.S.

The pro-gun community places great importance on engaging in good-faith discussions about ways to prevent children from accessing firearms, as well as ways to train young people on how to safely handle and store firearms.
However, in order for these discussions to be productive, it is essential that we all agree on the facts. Pushing an agenda through falsehoods and lies is not a constructive approach and is unlikely to yield positive results.
Therefore, gun-control advocates like Obama and Newsom need to check themselves. Because our capacity to save lives is directly correlated to our ability to discern truth from narrative.
