Missouri Mom Draws Down On Teen Threatening Her Son

An overprotective Missouri mother pulled a gun on a couple of loud-mouthed teens who had earlier threatened her son.

Tracy Leeser, armed with a pistol, and her husband Don Leeser, armed with a baseball bat, showed up to the park to protect their 15-year-old son Brett from 15-year-old Tyrelle Ware, 18-year-old Terrence Ware, and teenager Jack Herren. When the shouting match between the teens and the Leeser’s escalated, Tracy pulled out her piece.

But it all started last week after Don broke up a fight between two girls who are friends with the teens. Don pulled a knife on Terrence during the confrontation, and the “bad blood” between the families has only gotten worse.

Later, Brett texted his parents expressing concern that he was about to get jumped by the teens. And that’s when the adults showed up.

Video footage of the incident shows Tracy shouting back and forth with the teens before pulling a pistol from her right pants pocket. The brazen teens try baiting the mother into shooting them and Tracy responds by occasionally pointing the gun at them.

No injuries occurred during the argument, but Tyrelle and Terrence’s mother Christina Halton says Tracy and Don need to be charged.

“If they don’t get charged, what kind of example are we setting for our children – that it’s okay to pull guns on kids?” said Halton. “No, this is not how we deal with kids.”

Tracy, however, says she was in the right, and only drew her weapon because she felt threatened.

“Did I intend to use the gun? Absolutely not,” said Tracy. “But I felt that was my only safeguard against being killed that night. Worst-case scenario, yes, I would have used it. But I didn’t.”

So far, no charges have been filed against any of the involved parties.
