M.O.A.B. - 150/300 Minutes of Angle Adjustable Scope Base - Cold Shot - SHOT Show 2017

The MOAB is a tilting scope base with a click adjustable height wheel to raise your shot up to 300 MOA without leaving the center of your riflescope glass.

This is yet another product from Brian, the guy who developed the .22 Reloader in my prior article here. It is a 1/4 MOA click adjustable tilting scope base, which allows you to use the middle of your optics glass long range.

So rather than click your scope out 40 or more MOA when you stretch from 100 to 1000 yards, you click the base out, and make only minor adjustments to your scope turrets.

The applications are interesting when you think about it. A lot of hunters like fixed turrets with caps on their optics, but what happens if you decide to take a really long shot? Really you can’t, because your holdoff is only going to get you so high, and most hunting reticles on 2nd focal plane scopes reach only out to under 300 yards.

Click out to the information page for more pictures. It comes in MOA, Mil-Dot, and there is a special mount for the M1A.

You could technically pre-test your load using the MOAB, refined to 1/4 MOA clicks. That’s pretty cool.

It now comes in both MOA and Miliradians (Mil-Dot), and there is one specifically for the M1A, which I hope to get my greedy hands on soon. Yes, they aren’t cheap, but hand machined and tested one at a time, it’ll probably last you a lifetime.
