InVeris Training Solutions brought a few of their new systems out to SHOT Show 2022. While at their booth, I was able to try out their Virtual Reality VR-DT system. They also announced their QuikTurn 90 and 360-degree Turning Target Systems.
First of all, the immersive experience of the VR-DT system was pretty impressive. Virtual reality in general is a wild technology and one you should try out for yourself if you get a chance. This whole space provides such an opportunity for quality, technical, and robust training and InVeris has jumped right on it.
Their VR-DT system provides access to cutting-edge technology which allows users to gain valuable near-field experiences from a simulation. Training’s where it’s at folks, and the more immersive it gets, the more beneficial it will be.
Featuring a wide variety of scenarios and outcomes based on actions, it is hard to game the system. Each scenario can also be fully customized to put users in different environments. InVeris offers many different pistols, along with tasers, a baton, rifles, shotguns, flashlights, and OC spray as options in the simulation.
In addition to the VR side of things, InVeris has also announced their 90 and 360 QuikTurn Turning Target System. These are good for both indoor and outdoor ranges and are designed for random and concealed placements to fully enhance training.
Users can load preset training courses or program their own. They come with a wireless RangeMaster tablet. Able to run up to 10 or 26 targets per drive unit, this system would be a powerful tool to add to any range.
