Help the NRA Create the Ultimate Clinton-Attack Ad

The National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund is spending $3 million on Clinton-attack ads this election season.

That’s a lot of money. You can see one of their first ads in the YouTube video above.

I give that video a five outta 10 in terms of its effectiveness. I think the whole “hypocrite” angle is a bit played out in the sense that even pro-gun presidential candidates have armed guards. And really, anyone in a high-profile political position would want armed security, irrespective of their views on guns and the Second Amendment. So, bottom line, I think we can do better. So, here’s what I’m thinking. Let’s give the NRA-PVF some unsolicited ad ideas.

If you look at the script for the 30-second video (see below), it doesn’t take that much. Just a few lines and some corresponding imagery. Brevity, as Billy Shakespeare said, is the soul of wit.

She’s one of the wealthiest women in politics. Combined income: 30 million dollars.
Tours the world on private jets.
Protected by armed guards for thirty years.
But she doesn’t believe in your right to keep a gun at home for self-defense.
CLINTON (audio): “I fully appreciate how hard life is for so many Americans today.”

I’m going to pitch my attack ad, and I’m hoping you’ll pitch yours in the comment section below. Who knows, maybe the NRA-PVF will consider using one of our ideas to take down Clinton, the biggest existential threat our right to keep and bear arms has ever faced.

Working title: “The Face of Corruption”

Ad opens with the following quote in black text against a white backdrop:

“If you act in a corrupt way that benefits Hillary Clinton, you will be taking care of.”
— Julian Assange, Founder of Wikileaks

Brief Image or video of Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Clinton.

Voiceover: “As chairwoman of the DNC, Debbie Wasserman Schultz rigged the Democratic primary for crooked Hillary, engaging in Black PR to take down challenger Bernie Sanders.”

(Images of the Wikileaks emails)

Voiceover: “Wasserman Schultz was caught red handed — and resigned from her DNC position in disgrace.”

(Video of Wasserman Schultz being booed at convention)

Voiceover: “Following the scandal, in a move that would make even Al Capone blush, crooked Hillary hired Wasserman Schultz.”

Quote from Clinton, black text against white backdrop:

“I want to thank my longtime friend Debbie Wasserman Schultz…I am glad that she has agreed to serve as honorary chair of my campaign…” — Hillary Clinton, statement on the resignation of Wasserman Schultz.

Voiceover: Crooked Hillary, the face of corruption.

Okay, so my ad is probably a 60-second spot and not a 30-second spot. But I think it’s effective. In my humble opinion, the central focus of every attack ad ought to substantiate, with real-life examples, how irrefutable corrupt Hillary Clinton is. We need to keep reinforcing the “crooked” Hillary brand if we want to win.

Just for a moment, think about how brazenly corrupt this woman is. Think about the unmitigated gall Clinton has to publicly hire the very woman that literally rigged the Democratic primary so that she would win. I mean, that’s like crime-boss level corruption! It’s insane. And it’s a stick in the eye to the American people. I think Clinton is betting that we’re either not paying attention or too stupid to care. So, we need to respond by cementing the notion in every voter’s mind that crooked Hillary is the epitome of “crooked.”  She would be a disaster for this country.

You can see Clinton’s full statement below on Wasserman Schultz, following her resignation for the DNC. It should be enough to make you vomit.

“I want to thank my longtime friend Debbie Wasserman Schultz for her leadership of the Democratic National Committee over the past five years. I am grateful to Debbie for getting the Democratic Party to this year’s historic convention in Philadelphia, and I know that this week’s events will be a success thanks to her hard work and leadership. There’s simply no one better at taking the fight to the Republicans than Debbie–which is why I am glad that she has agreed to serve as honorary chair of my campaign’s 50-state program to gain ground and elect Democrats in every part of the country, and will continue to serve as a surrogate for my campaign nationally, in Florida, and in other key states. I look forward to campaigning with Debbie in Florida and helping her in her re-election bid–because as President, I will need fighters like Debbie in Congress who are ready on day one to get to work for the American people.”

Debbie’s a “fighter” alright, a fighter for robbing the American people of the democratic process this country was founded on. Debbie bilked the system at the behest of crooked Hillary Clinton — and got rewarded for it.  Hillary is not fit to be president.
