Hornady, owners of SnapSafe, announced the release of the GlideVault programmable safe at SHOT Show 2022. Featuring an unassuming 16 gauge steel powder coated exterior housing, the GlideVault is well suited to hide in plain sight.

Using a sleek tempered glass front face, and an illuminated 4 digit keypad, the GlideVault is easy to use and modern in aesthetic.
Users can program the password to any 4-6 digit code they desire. Utilizing a barrel override key on the back of the safe, users can still gain entry to the contents of the safe even if they forget the password or the batteries die. In the case of the batteries failing, the GlideVault also features a micro-USB backup port to power up the safe, open it up, and then replace the batteries.
Preset from the factory to include beeps when typing in the keycode, users can press and hold the “1” button for three seconds to toggle the sound off and on. The GlideVault comes with a security cable that can be used to wrap around a secure object to maintain the security of the safe. Users also have the option to use pre-drilled holes to bolt the safe down to a surface of their choosing.
Bridging the gap between a large and obvious gun safe, the GlideVault provides ample storage for multiple pistols or documents in a package that can hide in plain sight. Using a spring-assisted slide-out drawer, this safe is both quick and easy to use. The overall external dimensions are 15.9″ x 12.2″ x 4.4″ which makes this safe fit well on most existing furniture.
