During the 2018 SHOT Show, I had a chance to talk to Leslie Deets, the owner of Concealed Carrie.
Concealed Carrie makes a line of totes, clutches, satchels, and briefcases. She also makes wallets, universal holsters, and accessories geared towards concealed carry, mostly targeting the female consumer. Perusing her booth, Leslie’s concealed carry solutions appeared to be fashionable, well-thought-out and very high quality.
A hallmark of Leslie’s designs is the ease in which an end user can access his or her pistol. Leslie uses zippers, magnetic pouches and velcro to secure the firearm, and most of her products utilize a cross body draw.

The Briefcase
As I continue to climb the corporate ladder, there’s no doubt that my tactical 5.11 bag will have to be swapped out for a briefcase.
At this point in my life, if I have to off-body carry, I usually throw my Glock 19 in my 5.11 RUSH 12 and get on with my day. As I advance in my career, I imagine a time where I will have to shave my beard, wear more suits and swap out the 5.11 for a briefcase.
Leslie sells a really nice briefcase. The leather was soft and appeared to be well made. The briefcase had an exterior pouch/sleeve for a pistol, and the briefcase was large enough for a laptop, tablet or iPad.
The gun is secured in the outer pocket of the briefcase.

As I wrote this article, my lovely fiance happened to be walking by. I had the Concealed Carrie website up, and she immediately commandeered my mouse and started browsing the wares.
My fiance has impeccable taste in regard to purses, and purse quality. She gave the Concealed Carrie purses high praise.
Leslie was a real pleasure to talk to at SHOT and was very knowledgeable about concealed carry and firearms in general.
