The Second Amendment Foundation (SAF) is gearing up to promptly contest any federal “assault weapons” ban, spearheaded by Sen. Charles Schumer (D-NY), if it successfully passes into law.

“We support any effort to keep assault weapons and high-capacity magazines out of dangerous hands, as this bill would do,” Feldman stated, referencing President Biden’s longstanding advocacy for gun control since his tenure as a senator.

A federal district court judge in West Virginia has delivered a significant ruling, stating that the federal law restricting handgun sales to individuals aged 18 to 20 is “facially unconstitutional.”

U.S. Senators bent on more gun control used a hearing at the Senate Judiciary Committee to attempt to yet again diagnose violent crime in America as a public health disease. Their only proposed cure, of course, is more gun control.

“We urge Senator Heinrich’s colleagues to pass this bill before yet another community is forever scarred by someone filled with hate and armed with an AR-15,” he concluded.

“We are elated with this unanimous court ruling,” said Gottlieb. “The ATF clearly exceeded its authority. This is a major victory for gun owners and the rule of law.”

Moreover, these bills include a clause to prohibit magazines capable of holding more than 10 rounds, and they propose expanded criteria to qualify for concealed carry permits.
