Aptly named the “Primal” the brand new can is designed for big caliber, high-pressure rifle cartridges just like the .450 Marlin.

It’s a little cliché, but I’ll say it anyway: shooting a fully automatic 9mm with a suppressor is about as much fun as you can have with your pants on. And when SilencerCo’s excellent Omega 36M is on the end of the barrel? As they say in certain parts of New York’s underbelly, forget about it.

After shooting these nine suppressor configurations, I faced the tough decision to decide the optimum balance of lowest weight, shortest length and best suppression capabilities. Part of me is tempted to go all out and choose the largest configuration tested, the Raptor 10 with 5″ Reflex.

This is an absolutely fantastic can and one that I highly recommend. I can tell you it is worth the money, and not just with words. I bought the review model for this week. The Nav 22 is staying with papa bear, where it belongs.

The Nomad L consistently suppressed sound as well as or better than any of the other cans tested in this review (usually better). The L isn’t the cheapest suppressor on the market, but nothing beats its performance and durability—even more expensive cans.

New for 2020, KelTec has released yet another innovative and cool firearm: the Sub 2000 CQB (Carbine Quiet Barrel). This new beauty from KelTec is an integrally suppressed PCC carbine. It will be available in 9mm and 40 S&W.

Because of the unique design of the “Flow Baffle,” the expanding gasses are slowed and routed radially, between the outer tube and the core to then exit out of vent holes at the muzzle. This high pressure flow carries with it a ton of lead and carbon into the open atmosphere, keeping the inside much cleaner than traditional cans.

GSL’s 9mm Stealth suppressors are the most adaptable platform on the market. If you are going to pay a $200 Tax, you want to use this can in every 9mm application.
