Burris Tactical Kit – Great Scopes, Not a Lot of Money – SHOT Show

in Authors, Sam Trisler, SHOT Show 2015

Burris had a couple of new products and a cool new bundle at SHOT this year.  We stopped by their both to get the run down from Mike. Be sure to watch the video.

The new Burris Tactical kit is cool.  A lot of tactical shooters like having two optics (one with magnification and one without) on their rifles.  A number of people have been taking a Burris Fastfire and mounting it on top of the AR-332 or 536 to get the best of both worlds.  Burris is now selling these, along with a few other goodies, in one box.  This will sell for $100-150 cheaper than buying the parts individually.  It also comes in a nice case that could be used for other items. The MSRP is $599 for the 3x and $659 for the 5x.

The other big news from Burris is an update to their hunting scopes.  They are moving the parallax adjustment from the end to the side.  This will make it easier to adjust, especially on the longer scopes.

We’ve been running a lot of Burris scopes this year and have been really pleased with what we’re finding. The brand is positioning itself well. They’ve upped their game, but not their prices.

Slap it on your AR and you are ready to go!  Well remove the lens caps and zero it first.
