Apocalypse Pistol
As always, Cabot Guns has created a stunning new 1911 pistol. The slide is crafted from long-grain Damascus steel. The etched steel’s pattern is visible as long lateral lines run down the slide and then are revealed like wood grain in the canted serrations and cuts.
At the back of the slide, you can see the whole pattern in circular nodules like boudinage exposed in metamorphic rock.
But this one is not a safe queen. Like the Damascus samurai swords, it’s intended to be carried and to perform efficiently. The slide includes an optics plate compatible with Trijicon RMR pattern sights. The plate is deeply cut and the sights are tall so that you can co-witness and acquire targets quickly.
The barrel is threaded for suppressors and extra-tall sights are an option as well. A light rail is included under the barrel, but it can be omitted upon request.
The mag well is extended to guide your re-loads, and all the steel is finished in Cabot’s durable and transparent Heritage finish or nitride.
It comes in full size or commander length, and it’s chambered for .45 ACP or 9mm.
