Springer Precision is the place to go for P320 accessories.

One of the problems with buying a new-to-market gun is that accessories are scarce at first. If it’s in high demand the manufacturer is going to be completely hemmed up with the producing and shipping the guns so there’s no time for monkey business.

On that note, I have grown to be a big fan of SIG Sauer’s P320 series this year, but add-ons have proven to be hard to find.

Well good news cowboys, I found a supplier. A company called Springer Precision, out of Oregon, makes pretty much everything a growing boy needs. This week I secured a whole gaggle of their offerings and range tested the lot of em. Hang on to your hats!

Magazine Extensions

First up, magazine extensions. Why on God’s green earth SIG opted for a factory 21 rounder instead of a 23 rounder is beyond me. The space is there, and it’s worth mentioning that all the major shooting sports have the same magazine size restriction of 140mm in overall length.

Why stop at 17 or 21 when you can have 23 rounds of 9mm?

For an extra $20, it’s a great upgrade.

Springer Precision offers several kits to bring both SIG’s factory 17 rounder and 21 rounder up to an overall capacity of 23 rounds. This matches the largest available for other guns, leveling the playing field for competition. And if you carry a P320 variant for tactical work, it makes a lot of sense for you too.

Available in a variety of colors, the magazine extensions are sure to meet your needs. My test models achieved slide lock without fail every time; this is a well-built extension.  Pricing starts around $20.

Compensators

Compensators make a huge difference when it comes to reducing muzzle rise.

If you happen to have a TACOPS model or other metric thread barrel, Springer Precision offers compensators as well. A truly compensated pistol is a step up from porting and will keep your muzzle from rising off target better than anything else available. It’s like a muzzle brake for your pistol.

Pricing starts at $85 for the compensators.

In testing, the Springer compensator performed fantastic, keeping the steel ringing shot after shot. This part requires no fitting by a gunsmith and is not permanent. A great option to keep in your kit bag, next to your suppressors.  Cost for the compensators is between $85-$95, depending on which version you choose.

Grip Tape

Look at all those beautiful colors!

Finally, Springer Precision offers pre-cut grip tape. Available in a rainbow of colors, the fit was perfect. The grip is very aggressive, exactly what you want in a sandpaper wrap. Also, a first in my experience, they offer a rubberized version that would be great for concealed carry.  Grip tape is priced around $10.

Conclusion

I have found my new accessory shop. If you have a P320, I recommend you give Springer Precision a look.
